Throwback: Breaking News: Rico Bosco Has Retired From Barstool Sports Indefinitely

For people not following the Rico Bosco vs. Nate and KFC saga it finally reached it?s breaking point last night.? Rico Bosco has retired effective immediately from Barstool Sports (after he writes 2 more Oddshark columns) or until KFC and Nate both apologize to him for spreading vicious lies about his character.
Who is Rico Bosco you ask?? Well Rico has been a reoccurring character on Barstool for the better part of 2 years.? He is our resident gambling expert.? He joined Big Cat and I on our college football gambling podcasts every week.? He is a lover of fine food, fine movies and going to DJ?s in his car.? He has a legion of followers known as Rico?s Riders who live and die with his every selection.
He is frequent caller to the Mike Francesca show.? He despises Doug Gottlieb for stealing a credit card when he was in college.? He hates Clay Travis like poison. He is a man of honor.? A man of integrity.?? He has incredibly thin skin and is quick to ban anybody on twitter who dares speak against him.? He was the Barstool pitbull.? He is Rico Bosco.
Anyway this entire sordid affair started when KFC tweeted a picture of some ?random? dude who kept DM'ing him for a job.
Nate unfairly and unjustly and without one iota of evidence insinuated that Rico Bosco was the one sending the unwanted messages.
Rico naturally was upset at the false accusations and demanded an apology and to have his name cleared.
However instead of apologizing Nate and KFC continued to spread lies and innuendo about him.?? They continued to taunt him. They continued to tear down the 1 thing Rico has in this world.? His name/internet alias.
Immediately Stoolies picked sides. The Rico Riders started the #IStandWithRico movement.
And then Nate went to WWE on Sunday Night and made a mockery of the entire situation.? He taunted Rico on national television.? Nate had the entire country questioning Rico's credibility and honor.
Rico?s response came yesterday with his formal retirement via twitter.
And poof just like that Rico was gone?.(after he writes his 2 odds shark blogs)? He instantly joins the illustrious ranks of the only other Barstool pseudo employee to retire via twitter.? That of course would be Pirate Simon.
Meanwhile in other dark seedy places on the internet others celebrated this tragic news with joy and triumph.?? I guess it's true what they say.? Some people just like to watch the world burn. #IStandWithRico
