The Big Show Challenged Shaq To A Match At Wrestlemania

First they stared each other down at Wrestlemania, and there have been whispers for quite a while that they were going to throw down and have a match. And then last night at the ESPYS, hosted by John Cena, the two appeared to finalize the match on the red carpet. It was a bit too friendly, as you usually want your fixed red carpet confrontations to involve yelling, eye poking, and a choke slam, but the hand shake (and subsequent post on all of the WWE’s social media pages) seemed to all but confirm the match will happen and Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando.

This is more cross promotion the better for WWE, who loves having the big celebrity match at Wrestlemania. This time it’s not Pete Rose, not Snooki, but the 7’1 Shaq who will go one on one with the 7 foot Big Show in a match that will surely get mainstream coverage, which is what Wrestlemania is all about these days. Hopefully the match ends with Charles Barkley’s music hitting, him running down to the ring, and then hitting Shaq over the head with hit putter in a heel turn for the ages.
