Now, to be fair to Malcolm he does explicitly say in the video that it’s a simple suit and it’s nothing special and he’s a plain guy. He’s not out there stunting in Jos A Bank and acting like it’s Gucci. But, c’mon…. Malcolm. Malcolm, Malcolm, Malcolm. I need you to be better than this, my man. I NEED you to. We’ve got a reputation to keep here in New England. We’re men of high fashion. We play football like gods and we dress even better.

From court to the team bus to the ESPYs, looking fantastic is the — ahem — Patriot Way. We can’t have you rolling onto a Los Angeles red carpet and looking like you’re showing up for your first job interview. You don’t need six good suits and 5 shirts and 10 neckties for the price of one for the ESPYs, you need one fire suit. I know there’s the possibility that there’s a nicer suit inside, but you don’t go around carrying diamonds in dog poop bags so I’m not going to hold out hope for that.
