Of Course The Nets Have Agreed To Terms With Jeremy Lin
First the Nets stole the most traitorous Knicks fans, then they stole 2016 Knicks first round pick Andrea Bargnani, and now they stole the highlight of the 2000s Knicks B.P (Before Porzingis). What a bunch of motherfuckers. At least the people at Modells can start churning out the Linsanity shirts by the bushel again. Now they just need Nets fans to magically reappear like they did when Jay-Z made them cool. And hopefully we can get a few more stories about that time Lin had to sleep on Landry Fields’ couch (remember that name?). Those were always fun.
Meanwhile, Jarrett Jack won hater of the year with this tweet after the agreement was announced even though he is still Jarrett Jack.
Truth be told, I still love Lin and I wish that the Knicks signed him. This feels like seeing an ex-girlfriend that you had a magical, if not short, run with going to your nemesis. Luckily Knicks fans don’t have to worry about the Nets turning into a powerhouse anytime soon.
