Wake Up With Freddie Freeman Hitting For The Cycle Last Night
Honestly, I don’t even really give a shit about players hitting for the cycle. I can’t remember if it was Felger or Mazz, but one of them said that it was basically the baseball equivalent of bingo. I’d much rather have my best hitter go 4-for-5 with 2 home runs, a single and a double than hit for the cycle. It’s stupid, but it’s one of those things that baseball fans get all excited about for some reason. Also, I had to throw Braves fans a bone here. This might be the only exciting moment that they get all season, and it’s not even really that exciting. Poor Braves.
