Mashable- What do you get for the cat person who has everything, but still wants to lick their pet? As much as your cat loves the snuggles and strokes you give it on a daily basis, there’s nothing more bonding than using your own tongue to groom your beloved pet, just like a mother cat caring for its young. But all that cat hair can be so pesky. Enter, the Licki Brush. The Licki Brush is a synthetic cat tongue for humans to use on their pets. You stick it in your mouth, much like a baby’s pacifier, and use the extended brush to simulate the act of feline grooming. All this, of course, brings you closer to your pet. 

So I don’t know if this is fake or not but as far as I can tell, it’s real. I did my journalism due diligence (Google search and Twitter search) and it appears to be a real thing in the real world. Whether it’s fake or real doesn’t really matter because I guarantee a large percentage of cat owners who saw that tongue brush were like, “NEED IT. Where do I buy it?” and that’s really all you need to know about cat owners. They are fucking weirdos. Barstool is clearly a pro-dog site because we’re normal people and this just drives that point home. Wanting a product that allows you to lick your cat back is not normal behavior. It’s just not. And it’s not the same as somebody kissing their dog back. That’s just pure affection. The fact that a cat makes their owner put in a mouth guard with a fake tongue attached to it for it to feel affection shows how big of assholes cats are. I feel like I’m preaching to the choir because nobody who reads this or reads this site is ever going to buy a brush that lets you lick your cat. That helps me sleep at night.
