I did my best to try and prepare everyone for this. The Celtics and the lottery just don’t mix. Never have, and never will. In my mind I tried to anticipate this would happen, but it still stings. Call it boned, porked, screwed, whatever you want, it hurts all the same. Danny Ainge’s job just got a whole lot harder, and that sound you heard was him losing a shit ton of leverage. A pick this low is going to make it almost impossible to convince a team to give up its best player. This is a two player draft and everyone knows it. Time for Plan Y or some shit, because Plan A and Plan B are out the window. Perhaps they can make some moves to trade up on at the draft or something, but we saw how tough that was last year.
