The Internet Is Convinced That Tiger Woods Hit Those Three Balls Into The Water On Purpose Yesterday

I. Love. It. These are my people. These are the people I would sit down and have a beer with. The ones who, in some deep corner of their mind, actually believe that Tiger pulled off the throttle and put those balls in the water yesterday on purpose to start a media firestorm. I’m not a huge conspiracy theory guy but I am a huge Tiger Woods guy. I threw out this theory as sort of a joke yesterday but I’m not ruling it out as a possibility. No way. Why would he do it you ask? A few reasons. One, cause the dude loves being talked about. Also, why not hit them short and pretend like you’re (still) awful at golf? It’s either Tiger realllllllly isn’t good anymore or it’s a stroke of genius. I will say, the one guy suggested that he did it on purpose to let the war veterans win the contest. I don’t know about all that and that’s not a road I wanna go down. All I’m saying is that it’s not impossible that Tiger put those balls in the drink to keep expectations low for his return. Or to make his comeback look even greater when it happens (ya know, whenever/if ever that come back happens). Or both. #TigerFanBoys #TigerTruthers
