A Woman Getting Rushed To The Hospital With A Shark Still Attached To Her Arm Signifies Summer Is Officially Here

ABC News - A woman was bitten by a 2-foot-long nurse shark that was still attached to her right forearm at a Boca Raton, Florida, beach Sunday, according to Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services. Emergency crews responded to a 911 call of a 23-year-old woman bitten by a shark. Though the shark had been killed before the fire department arrived, it was still attached. The woman, with the dead shark still on her arm, was taken to the Boca Raton Regional Hospital in stable condition.

What do those 3 things have in common? All are signs Summer is finally here. Sure it doesn’t “officially” start for another month, but calendars, much like drinking and driving laws, are merely suggestions. And this woman getting lit up by a 2 foot shark is evidence enough that the Summer season has arrived. Over the last couple of years I have documented quite a few shark attacks on this blog, at first hating sharks, but then kind of coming around and taking their side because they simply don’t give a fuck, and I respect that. Sharks are the heels of the ocean. They don’t need to share their water with us. We are in their house when we jump into the ocean, so we kinda have it coming if they choose to bite our arms off. Now obviously that also means we can beat the shit out of any shark who attacks us as well. A give and take if you will, like they did to the shark in question in this story. They killed it while it was still biting her arm which is a big-time message to the shark community. They probably went on their shark blogs and read about this one. They are either out for revenge or took this as a sign to chill out. It’s yet to be seen.
