We started following Maverick’s story at the end of last month after David Ortiz promised him a home run against the Yankees, and delivered with a game-winning blast into the Monster seats that night. The second Maverick said he was trying his hardest to get to Fenway Park to meet David Ortiz, I knew they’d get him there as soon as possible and make it one of the most memorable experiences of his entire life.
