Kevin Sumlin Is Upset That Johnny Football Won’t Return His Calls

PFT – Some have suggested that quarterback Johnny Manziel’s best chance of getting back into the NFL would happen only if his former coach at Texas A&M, Kevin Sumlin, were to jump to the next level. But Manziel could be burning that bridge, too. Sumlin recently told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM in Phoenix that he has been unable to contact Manziel. “I had texted him a couple of times and given him a call but haven’t got a return back,” Sumlin said. “So from that standpoint it’s a little unnerving. But there’s gonna come a time where he’s ready to communicate. . . . Our concern is for his well-being, and has nothing to do with football and has everything to do with life. It’s important that he knows that.”

Oh boo hoo, boo hoo Johnny won’t return my phonecalls.  Hey Kevin quit your whining.  I texted Johnny yesterday.  I asked him to come on my podcast. Dude got right back to me in 5 seconds.  He said couldn’t do it because he has court this week, but it wasn’t like he was ignoring me.  So maybe it’s not him.  Maybe he just doesn’t like you.  I mean what kind of man runs to the media when somebody doesn’t text them back?  Hey newsflash, you’re not getting invited to Bieber. Deal with it. And further more from now on if you have anything to say to Johnny you go through me.  I’ll tell Johnny what he needs to know and what he doesn’t need to know.  I’m taking this kid to the top.  POISE!  POISE!
