Tampa Bay puts in the game tying goal with 40 seconds left in regulation after pulling the goalie, and finishes the job in OT. Winning a game they had no business winning in those last few seconds. I cant even get mad after the way the Isles put away the Panthers in round 1. A couple of those wins were as improbable as they come. Sometimes you’re on the long end of those games, sometimes you’re on the short end.

Time for the Isles to dig deep now. Games like that can be a backbreaker for some teams. A deflating loss at home like tonight can stick with you if you dont make a conscious effort to shake it off and move on to game 4. Keep up the physical play. Clean up the sloppiness. No way JT has another game like that. You play as well as they did for 99.9% of tonights game and you’re bouncing back with another W. Shake that one off because if you dont, youre dead.
