Roger Goodell Says He Spoke With The Krafts And Everybody Is Ready To Move Forward
BOSTON (CBS) — In an interview on CBS This Morning Thursday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell responded to Drew Brees’s comments that he’s “not going to trust any league-led investigation when it comes to anything,” “There was an independent investigation on this, and an independent report that was presented to me,” Goodell said. “ Goodell said he has spoken to Robert and Jonathan Kraft, and that he thought everyone was “ready to move forward.”
And for the 3rd consecutive day Roger Goodell has stood up in front of the American people and lied to their faces saying there was an independent investigation. It’s almost like Goodell forgets that the internet exists. That people can go see what he’s said in the past. The NFL ALREADY admitted it wasn’t an independent investigation under oath. They already argued that the Wells Report didn’t have to be an independent investigation. It’s in black and white. If they did have to give Brady a fair trial they would have been laughed out of court. The facts are the NFL can do whatever the fuck it wants. That’s what the courts ruled.
But that’s neither here nor there. How mad must Robert Kraft be right now? Goodell couldn’t just leave it alone. He had to say that he met with the Krafts and they were “ready to move forward.” Umm no offense, but fuck the Krafts then. This isn’t about them and frankly they’ve been wishy washy this entire fiasco blowing in the wind with public opinion. Now this comment makes them look like trash. All indications from the Brady camp is he is far from being ready to move forward. Pats fans are FAR from being ready to move forward. We have no draft picks tonight. Our QB and one of the greatest athletes in the history of Boston is being dragged through the mud. The Krafts are ready to move on? FUCK THAT. Roger Goodell just made the Krafts look like total assholes with that comment. I mean even if it was true the last thing the Krafts must want right now is Goodell acting like they are on the same page in public. Just shows what an egomaniac this guy is. He literally just pissed on Bob Kraft’s face and made him look like a jerk in front of all Patriot fans. Money trumps loyalty. That’s what he just said.
