Incredible little tidbit I picked up from Syndergaard the other day. Would have loved to heard this story straight from his mouth but I think he got in another fender bender. The thought of those two having a broken conversation with half of it getting lost in translation ending up with both of them saying “I love you” to each other is hysterical. All part of the charm of the Mets. There are divas like Harvey. Flashy dudes like Yo. But then there are 2 guys like Tolo and Noah. Just hanging out, playing ball, telling each other “I love you, man.” One guy throwing 100 mph HEAT, the other guy throwing dirt nasty junk, both on their way back to the World Series. What a combo. They look like Sweet Dee and Frank Reynolds.
