Kobe’s 60 Point “Storybook” Finale Is the Most Ridiculous Story in the History of Civilization

As I said on the rundown yesterday I don’t really give a fuck about Kobe retiring. Sure I hated him when we played the Lakers in the Finals, but I never hated him like I hate Lebron. Kobe really hasn’t been top of mind for me for 5 years or so. So it’s not like I’m holding some grudge against him. He’s a top 10 player of all time and deserves the huge sendoff from Laker fans. But having said that are you shitting me with peoiple calling last night’s performance magical? A storybook ending to his career? Dude put up 50 fucking shots! FIFTY! It’s almost impossible not to score 60 points when you shoot that much. And the Lakers stink and haven’t played a meaningful basketball game in years. Beating the Utah Jazz and missing the playoffs is hardly a storybook ending. Just bananaland watching the media spin this.
