It wouldn’t be right if they walked their way into the playoffs without making it at least a little interesting. But after avoiding the season series sweep against the Pittsburgh today and thanks to our friends in Detroit and Boston both losing earlier today, your 2015-16 Philadelphia Flyers are headed to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and it’s fucking go time, baby. I’d still love to see the boys roll through Brooklyn tomorrow and come out of the Barclays with Tavares’ head on a stake but the game is pretty much meaningless this point. I’ll still see all of you hooligans who show up to Barstool at the Barclays so if any of you pussy Islanders fans want to fight, well let me just buy you a beer instead because I’m a pussy. But still, getting back on track here, the Flyers are heading back to the playoffs and this team refuses to die.
