PSA: If Somebody Offers You This Drug That's 100X Stronger Than Heroin, Don't Take it, It's Killed 10 People in 12 Days
Metro- A powerful synthetic drug is causing an epidemic of hundreds of overdose deaths in America – produced in illicit labs and often sold in place of heroin. This week, 10 drug users died from overdoses in 12 days in the Sacramento area – many due to unknowingly taking tablets containing fentanyl. Jerome Butler died after taking what he thought was an opiate painkiller. His mother, Natasha, said, ‘It shut down his organs. It shut down his kidneys. It shut down his liver. His brain was swollen. The doctor said he said there was nothing he could do for him. From one pill.’ The illicitly manufactured Fentanyl is between 20 and 100 times stronger than heroin, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration. The drug – prescribed to cancer patients for severe pain – is highly potent, and can cause fatal overdoses even in hardened drug users.
Just a little head up for any Stoolies out there who like to experiment with hardcore drugs. Go ahead and pass up on this one that’s killing about a person a day. Drug experimentation can be fun but it’s a lot less fun if you’re dead. I’m scared to even look at the drug let alone try it. 100 times stronger than heroin? Jesus H. Christ. That’s the hardest pass in the history of hard passes. I’m not worried about me taking it cause I get worried when I take too many ibuprofen when I’m hungover. I’m the biggest pussy ever when it comes to drugs. Hell I get light headed when I smoke a cigarette. I couldn’t be less cut out for the hardcore drug life. I’ve only seen people shoot up heroin in TV and movies but they look like they slide off into a different universe. What do people look like when they take this drug that is a billion times stronger? Do they just spin right off the Earth? They must. Or whatever it looks like when somebody’s organs are shutting down cause they just ingested the strongest drug ever. Again, hard pass.
