The Eliminator: Easter Candy

Yesterday I put up a ton of words about Easter and Easter candy and didn’t realize I had an easy Eliminator question to ask. Because make no mistake about it, these are four powerhouses in the candy game. Cadbury Creme Eggs and Cadbury Mini Eggs are Easter traditions for as long as I remember going all the way back to when I believed a giant bunny actually hid candy at my house. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and Starburst Jellybeans are proof that big corporations aren’t all so bad by muscling their way into slinging that sugary product on the holidays.

As for which of these I would eliminate, it’s a tough one. I can’t get rid of Mini Eggs since I said they are the best holiday-specific food ever. I can’t get rid of Reese’s because the peanut butter cup is the best actual candy ever. So it’s between Starburst Jellybeans and the Cadbury Creme Egg. Which is like choosing your favorite child, if you clearly had two favorites and two slightly less favorites (which I bet happens all the time). I guess I have to go with the Creme Egg since I feel like they have gotten cheap in recent years. It kills me to do that more than I care to admit. But as always, since this is a democratic process, you can make your choice below.
