Alfred Morris Signing With the Cowboys Stings Because Alfred Morris Is Way Too Good Of a Person To Sign With the Cowboys

This one stings a bit. You never want to see your guys go to the dark side. Especially guys like Alfred Morris. Dude is nothing but a class act. He’s the kind of guy that still drives his old car not because he wants to be “that guy”, but because he genuinely does not care about flashy things. He would rather hang out with his stadium fam before games, getting to know the people behind the scenes, than stare at his phone in the locker room.

And now after 4 seasons in DC, the hardest runner I’ve ever seen play for the Skins has signed in Dallas. The former 6th round pick was shot out of a cannon his rookie year, rushing for 1613 yards and a 4.8 ypc. His stats have declined every year since, as have his carries and his yards per carry. Regardless, Alf is a fantastic change of pace back, and after a down year with a light load, I wouldn’t be shocked if he had a resurgence in Dallas. I love the guy, I’m glad he’s getting paid and continuing to play football, I just hate that he’s a Cowboy now. However, if there is one guy who can bring balance to the force, it’s Alf.
