What Does Losing 6 Of Your Last 8 And Getting Bounced Early In Your Conference Tournament Get You? A Sports Illustrated Cover!

No brainer here. The Iowa Hawkeyes are on the cover of Sports Illustrated for the second time this season. Jarrod Uthoff’s beautiful face getting lots of exposure. When you have a chance to put a team on the cover of Sports Illustrated that lost to Penn State, that dropped 6 of its final 8 games, that got bounced from the B1G tourney by Illinois, that was a rumored #1 seed eventually ended up being a #7 seed, whose coach yelled at a reporter after yet another bad loss, you do it.  You do it every time.  Doesn’t matter that its only a regional cover.  That team needs to be on the cover of magazines and SI made it happen. Props to them. Great choice.
