Saturday Morning Hockey Talk With Nate And Chief - Documenting The Caps and Hawks Runs To and Through The Stanley Cup Playoffs

So for the last 3 weeks myself and Chief from Chicago have chatted about hockey on Friday nights. As it turns out we actually work very well together, me after plentiful amounts of alcohol, him after a relaxing cup of tea. That combo gives you 45 minutes of must-listen ‘casting. Since he represents the class of the western conference Blackhawks and I represent the best team in hockey Capitals, it’s a no brainer to document our thoughts on our teams as we inch closer and closer to the playoffs.

The difference in our brains could not be bigger. Chief has won 3 Cups in recent history and could not be more relaxed or confident. I, on the other hand, could not be more manic right now. The Caps are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games which includes 4 games in 5 nights and a West Coast road trip and I’m in worry mode. I’ve seen the Caps depress me too many times and there is way too much riding on this season.

So please do follow us as we document our troubles and tribulations from now through the end of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We also talk about 3 on 3 OT, outdoor games, expansion, and how we would get rid of the forward pass if we ran an NFL team.
