Chase Utley Will Reportedly Not Be Suspended For Sliding Into Ruben Tejada During Game 2 Of The NLDS
Grab your pitchforks and torches Mets fans, because now we riot! Rob Manfred is Stalin! Rob Manfred is Stalin!!! Unbelievable. Joe Torre and Major League Baseball admits they got the ruling wrong after Game 2 of the NLDS, the league changes the rule entirely in what is now known as the “Ruben Tejada Rule” (or “Utley U Buttley Rule) and then just lets that no good dirty trickster Chase Utley off the hook. This aggression will not stand, mannn.
Now the Mets pitchers have to take it into their own hands, which is bullshit. Instead of a 2-game suspension, Utley U Buttley will probably have to serve a 15-game DL stint while whatever Cy Young candidate the Mets wheel out that night will have to probably serve a 5+ game suspension of his own. Chase Utley’s blood is on your hands, Manfred and Stalin. Don’t forget that.
