The Eliminator: Road Trip Movies
As always, the rules are that you must eliminate one of these four movies from the world forever. I’m pretty sure that I have written the world “classic” in almost every Eliminator blog I have published, but these are four legit classic comedies. National Lampoon’s is the OG of the group, Dumb & Dumber and Tommy Boy are locks in my Top 5 comedy movies (maybe Top 3), and I truly believe that Road Trip is the most underrated comedy of this century.
For me personally, I immediately rule out Dumb & Dumber and Tommy Boy just because again, they are in my Top 5. So this is between National Lampoon’s and Road Trip, which is toughhhhh. But the way I rationalize it is if I eliminate National Lampoon’s, I still have Christmas Vacation (along with European Vacation and Vegas Vacation). If I eliminate Road Trip, it’s just gone forever. So that’s my pick. Sorry Clark W, Christie Brinkley, and Cousin Eddie, but I have to eliminate you.
