Eagles Give Sam Bradford A 2-Year, $36 Million Deal With $26 MILLION GUARANTEED WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING?!?!?!

First and foremost, yes, I am happy about Bradford being back. He is BY FAR the best option the Eagles have to be under center this season. Of course I hate this front office and wouldn’t mind seeing Rome burn to the ground to get rid of all the snakes, I will root for this team to succeed till the day I die. But what the FUCK is this contract? It doesn’t make any sense. I thought the idea of not franchising him was because you didn’t want to give him $20+ million guaranteed, which is fine. I can deal with that. But again, I thought the idea of negotiating a longer deal would be to lock him down for years for a team friendly, incentive given contract. HOW THE FUCK DOES HOWIE ROSEMAN GIVE HIM THAT MONEY FOR ONLY TWO YEARS?!?!? That’s not the lesser of two evils, that’s the worst of two evils. A double whammy to the dick. Why not franchise him if this was the deal you were going to give him? Or, even better, at least have him on under contract for 3-4 years so if he is the tits, we can negotiate some more or if he isn’t, we can draft and groom a replacement. All this does is set us up for a worse situation in 2 years. Goddamn I hate this team and what it’s doing to my father.

It is what it is. Again, I am happy he is back, but that contract makes no sense. Let’s hope it works out for the best even though nothing ever does. #GoSleevesGo
