RIP Mufasa: Eagles Have Cut Demeco Ryans

A sad day, but let’s face it, not the most shocking move the Eagles could’ve made. $3.5 mill isn’t even that bad of a freaking cap hit for this guy. Sure, Howie probably played Scar and threw Demarco to his death because Howie’s a dick, but it would’ve been a shock to see Ryans play like his former self at this point in his career. The dude is simply too banged up to perform at the highest level. I wish we could keep him around for his leadership ability, but with a billion other LB’s on the roster I guess they’re making the right move? With this franchise, probably not. I wish Mufasa nothing but the best, and look forward to his protege Simba Hicks to sling it for years to come.
