The Air Jordan XXX's Are Heinous

There’s always a group of Stoolies who are like “KFC who cares about sneakers” “You’re a child” “Youre old” “Youre white” blah blah blah whenever I talk about sneakers. I get it. But the fact of the matter is theres an enormous market and culture surrounding shoes. If its not for you, I definitely understand. But lets not be mistaken that just because the generic Stoolie commenter isnt into it that there is a ton of people into kicks and fashion.

And even if you’re not currently into them, every dude growing up that played ball had a pair or 2 of Jordans. Or wanted them at least. Always on the Christmas Wish List whether you ended up getting them or not. When we were growing up it was Jordan’s prime on the court and on his feet. But the reality of the matter is Jordan hasnt dropped a good looking shoe since 14. I dont even personally like em but I know they’re popular. 13 is pushing it for me. If it wasnt for the memories I had of when they first came out and Denzel buying them in He Got Game I dont even think I’d like those. Thats like 16 or 17 consecutive duds from Jordan if you ask me. I know the new trend with shoes is this futuristic shit. Lebron’s shoes look like something you should wear on a spaceship. They look like shoes a Star Trek character should wear. But for number 30 they should have thrown it back and done something more classic. As a matter of fact, just keep re-releasing old shit in different colors. Thats all we want. Its dumb and inexplicable but its all we want.
