Bryce Harper Speaks Out Against A Potential Mighty Ducks Reboot

RS - I was going to ask you about that! It seems like every single movie franchise is getting rebooted these days – would you like to see a Mighty Ducks remake?

No, because it wouldn’t be that good! They should just leave it as is – respect the original Mighty Ducks trilogy. Go pick it up on VHS and watch it. The same goes with all the baseball movies that came out when I grew up – Major League, Angels in the Outfield, The Sandlot. I think they actually remade The Sandlot and everyone hated it. You can never have another Squints Palledorous.

The voice of reason we never knew we always needed to defend the Mighty Ducks movies. Bryce said it perfectly, you need to respect the original Mighty Ducks trilogy. And I believe he is right again when he says the movie is better on VHS. Just more pure, the way it was intended to be watched. If there is one thing we know about Bryce is that he’s a purist in every aspect of life, and we can add classic Disney films about neglected children coached by an alcoholic to the list.

PS: He’s never seen any of the Star Wars movies, huge sigh of relief. Bet you he’s seen Rookie of the Year 1000 times though.
