RG3 Cleared Out His Locker For The Last Time And It Was The Most RG3 Locker Clearing Out Imaginable

It’s just so RG3 it hurts. Guy is from a different planet. I’m not going to knock him for it because I am too, but on the other hand, I’m not an NFL QB trying to fit into a locker room of 330 pound linemen. I probably wouldn’t have dolls and figurines in my locker if I was though. It’s just so RG3. Walks to the beat of his own drum. And it’s hard to blame him. He was always the best at everything. Athletic, smart, Heisman trophy, rookie of the year…and then when adversity hit, he couldn’t handle it.
Now, I’ll say this again, RG3 was a model citizen all year while he was an inactive 3rd string QB. Didn’t say a peep, didn’t stir up controversy, just did his best to help the team in his limited role. If he goes to the Texans or San Fran or somewhere out of the division I’ll root for him to succeed. But it’s the little things like this that make me wonder if he’s ever going to change at all:
It’s always about catch phrases and making statements the same way a 14 year old girl would on her Myspace with him. “Be happy anyway. Do good anyway”. What’s he even talking about? It’s just so sappy, so unnecessary. It doesn’t accomplish anything or do him any favors. It just causes more people to think of him as not mature enough to make it in this league.
I wish him well and thank him for 2012, and wish his legs weren’t made of toothpicks and fun-tak.
