Buzzfeed Had People Drink Their Own Piss For One Of Those In-Studio Viral Videos

Here’s what I said a couple days ago on a blog of a video where lesbians touched a guy’s dick for the first time:

I feel like every time I blog one of these “Put people in an empty studio, have them admit or do weird things” viral videos, I’m compelled to point out how they get more and more outlandish. First people just admitted weird things, then it was dads reading their daughters’ texts to guys, then girlfriends seeing each other naked, and now here we are with lesbian women touching guys’ dicks for the first time on a YouTube video. Notice a trend? Basically every idea has been done at this point so in order to keep getting people to watch these videos, they have to keep upping the ante and upping the ante and what’s left? Just straight up porn.

And now, here we are, a few days later and Buzzfeed is encouraging staffers to DRINK THEIR OWN urine with this as the a rationale so half-assed it could be defined as Barstoolesque:

Like they couldn’t even conjure up a bullshit reason to have these guys do it. That title card is Buzzfeed’s video production team throwing their hands up and basically going, “Yeah whatever we made employees drink their own urine, so what, you’re watching it. You’re no better. Get off the high horse fucko.” And they’re 100% right. But, again, you’ve gotten your 1M views on this video, what’s next? Some graphic design intern reenacting two girls one cup? An Elite Daily marketing assistant snowballing with someone from accounting? How are we going to keep getting these views up viral internet? Because quite frankly I’m running out of bodily fluids here unless we’re willing to keep an open mind to the viral potential of a video of people getting their first Strawberry Shortcake.

PS #noracist but the Asian girl being the only lady down to participate in this was not exactly the biggest surprise. Buzzfeed must be saving the Brazilian girl in HR for that aforementioned shit-based followup.
