Sad Eli Manning Talking About Tom Coughlin Potentially Being Fired Makes Me Sad
As somebody that has lived and died with the dizzying roller coaster that has been the Tom Coughlin Era in New York, this video obviously hit close to home. It is hard to tell if Eli Manning actually has a pulse 99% of the time, so to see him show emotion has shaken myself and many Big Blue fans to their core. You would think that the Giants owners would probably talk things over with their franchise quarterback before moving forward with their decision on Coughlin’s future with the Giants, so Eli’s reaction tells me things probably aren’t looking very good for Tommy Boy as he meets with John Mara and Steve Tisch right now. Then again, no coach in Giants history has been better at fighting against the odds and surviving than Tom Coughlin.
