Daniel Bryan Thinks His Career In WWE Is Over

Uproxx - He said his injury was concussion-related and even though he has been cleared by a personal doctor, he is still waiting for the WWE doctor to clear him. Bryan said: “I think it could be the end of my career in WWE, but I don’t think it will be the end of my career. “I could find another passion, but it would just be sad because this is what I have been most passionate about since I was five.”

Terrible news. All Daniel Bryan loves is wrestling. Probably to a fault, because he’s put himself in some brutal situations and has inflicted tons of pain on his body, all for the fans and because it’s what he loves doing. But unfortunately he’s just about broken himself in every way imaginable, and the WWE doctor won’t clear him (despite being cleared by other doctors).

Now the big theory here is Vince HATES Daniel Bryan. DB “ruined” Vince’s magical plans and Vince was forced to change Wrestlemania because the fans all rallied behind Daniel. Now Vince doesn’t want DB to come back because he wants Roman Reigns to be the top guy. He knows if Bryan was wrestling, the fans would once again rally behind him, leaving Roman to get booed. Which of course is asinine, because why would Vince punish Daniel Bryan for being popular? That’s just the way Vince is. He’s on record saying he’d rather make a dollar his way than a million dollars someone else’s way. So while Daniel Bryan is a fan favorite and would increase ratings, Vince is dead set on having Reigns being his #1 guy. So the rumor is he is telling the doctors not to clear Bryan in order to keep it that way. We need Vince gone ASAP.

There is one other possibility, of course, where Daniel Bryan comes back at the Rumble and Reigns turns heel and we have an awesome Bryan vs Reigns feud. But that won’t happen. Why would good things happen? Why would you make Reigns, a giant, scary looking dude who can’t cut a promo, a monster heel? Makes too much sense.
