Another Isles Shootout, Another Isles Win
What an odd game that was.
Isles were cruising, looking at a nice little win over Philly, I had my #PrayForJordie tweets drafted, the win Vine all cued up, ready to dance into the night with another two.
But nope, tonight had to get interesting. The team takes a 180 during the second period which had them holding on for dear life the final 35 minutes including OT. A too many men on the ice call in OT [again], and a few empty net misses on philly’s behalf, mixed with a few cigarettes on my behalf, and somehow, sommmeee way, the Isles outlast Neuvirth in the shootout.
Medvedev threw some knees, Boychuk threw some bodies, and Okposo made a mockery of Claude Giroux in his own building in the shootout.

Tonight was a roller coaster of emotions in the worst way, but two points is two points and its on to Columbus.
