Hinrich Ruled Out Tonight, #ThoughtsAndPrayers That Good Nate Shows Up
You’re Fucking Out Hinrich
You’re Fucking In
NEW YORK — The Chicago Bulls will try to close out their series against the Brooklyn Nets without guard Kirk Hinrich, who will miss Game 5 on Monday because of a bruised left calf.
Hinrich, who had 18 points and 14 assists in almost 60 minutes during the Bulls’ triple-overtime victory in Game 4 on Saturday, was wearing a walking boot during Monday morning’s shootaround.
Nate Robinson is expected to start in place of Hinrich. Robinson is coming off a memorable Game 4 performance when he scored 34 points, including 23 in the fourth quarter to fuel a Bulls’ comeback.
No Bueno is right Kirk. No bueno indeed. As much as I love Nate, this is a bad situation. Since Jan 1 the Bulls are 27-12 with Hinrich and 5-13 without. I’m not a numbers guy but that right there sound like he’s important to the Bulls success. Nate is great, in smaller doses. When he has to bring the ball up for 35 minutes a game, that’s when we get in trouble. He’s just not built for that. And tonight we live and die by it, praying that Good Nate shows up. At the very least this should be a wake up call for Gar and Pax, might be smart to fix the point guard situation next year. Maybe find a younger, explosive, MVP caliber guy who can bring the ball up in the playoffs. Just a thought.

Our Nate Robinson Tattoo friend has to be absolutely PUMPED for tonight. Waffle dunks all day.
