Every now and then someone comes along that transcends the game. Bigger than just a smokeshow…bigger than just a college athlete…a combination of the very best aspects of both, a rare breed, the type of talent that scouts spend their entire careers looking for, but never finding. You could go 25, 30 years searching the world for a prospect like this and never even come close, from minor league stadiums in the bumfuck Midwest to the dried up sandy fields in the Dominican.
