Sad News: Nate Solder's Infant Son Diagnosed With Cancer

Bostonherald – Patriots left tackle Nate Solder announced tonight his infant son has cancer. Solder’s son, Hudson, was diagnosed last month with a Wilms’ tumor in his kidneys, and Hudson has already had a few rounds of chemotherapy at Boston Children’s Hospital. Solder was speaking tonight at the Above & Beyond the Gratitude Gala benefiting the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.Solder, of course, beat testicular cancer in 2014. Solder’s wife, Lexi, gave birth to Hudson in July.

Yikes. Nothing like a little shot of reality to put things in perspective. I can’t imagine getting news worse than this. All of Stoolie Nation’s thoughts and prayers are with Nate, Lexi and Hudson.
