Look, this guy “Vegas Dave” is clearly one of those guys who only posts pictures of big bets that he wins and doesn’t let you know any of the terrible bets that he loses. Clearly very obnoxious. Having said that, from a quick Instagram stalk, it does seem that he does well for himself. It’s entirely possible (and likely) he’s still down in sports betting…as most every single person on the planet is. But he still has a shit ton of money and it’s hard to take that away from him. He did win 2.5 million on a futures bet on the Royals..that probably brought him up to even on the year

Who knows. Maybe he’s one of the only guys who can beat sports betting without complicated algorithms and advanced stats running through computer simulations? The best NBA bettor in the world has all of that and he said his ROI is something around 3%. And he’s the best NBA bettor in the world. So that’s why I’m a little hesitant to believe in this Vegas Dave feller. But I guess if you hit Royals futures for 2.5 million you can be up on the year.
