I’ve watched this video like 15 times because it’s such an incredible juxtaposition. You see people having fun and enjoying their Friday night, only care in the world is on the pitch for their friendly vs the Germans then explosions come to slap you back into reality. The craziest part is that they’re met with cheers, because why wouldn’t they be? Probably just a rallying cry or something like that, right? Pyrotechnics and shit are always used at sporting events to add some energy to the crowd, that must be what it was. No way is Paris turning into a war zone right outside. Just insane.

After the match fans were held inside the stadium, for safety. But when they were released they refused to act scared and sang the French national anthem as they exited. A beautiful fuck you to the terrorists.
