Little Bei Bei Took His First Steps Then Got The Shit Cuddled Out Of Him By His Mom

One small step for panda…one adorably wobbly moment for all of us—#BeiBei’s first steps! Under the watchful eye of mom Mei Xiang, #BeiBei took his first steps on Monday, Nov. 9 around 4:50pm. #PandaStory#WeSaveSpecies  Now that he’s got all four paws under him, Bei Bei will begin to wander around and leave the den on his own to explore the indoor enclosure.

Happy fucking Friday!! That was just what the doctor ordered to get us to the weekend. Just stop whatever it is you’re doing and pound a beer or take a shot, whatever you want, I’m not here to judge. Because the second Bei Bei takes his first steps and then gets the big panda cuddle, all productivity is done because puddles can’t work. And plus it’s Friday so you’re either sitting in your cube staring at the clock, or in class about to bomb an exam. Bei Bei is here for you.

And it only gets better from here. He can walk now, which means he’ll be climbing trees soon, rolling down hills, doing all the cute panda shit we got to see Bao Bao do. Remember her first snow day? Feel like we’re just growing up with these pandas, I hate the Internet for a ton of reasons, but the ability to watch pandas is not one. Makes it all worth it.
