Latta Could Have Killed Ryan White, Oshie Scored Off A Beautiful Pass By Kuznetsov, And The Caps Dominated The Flyers, Winning 5-2

Another game, another easy win for the Caps. After a slow start, falling 1-0 and then 2-1, the Caps strung together 4 straight goals over the weak Flyers, leaving Philly with an easy 5-2 win. The Flyers were only able to get 20 shots on Holtby, despite have 4 PPs. The Caps still haven’t conceded over 30 shots on net in a game this year.

The next time he went around the net the defense didn’t fully commit to him, expecting a pass, and he swooped around the net for another scoring chance. Ovi scored again, only to have the all time Russian leading scorer goal waved off by officials for the second time in a row. Last time because of a wishy washy goaltender interference call, this time because Justin Williams was offside by a big toe. It was the correct call last night, but man, 2 straight goals washed out by coach’s review stings. Hopefully he’ll get it tonight vs Calgary in Verizon Center.
