DFS Protestors Chant "Game Of Skill" Outside Attorney General's Office

Game of Skill! Game of Skill! Game of Skill!

Preach on you Daily Fantasy Degenerates! The cream of the crop is downtown this morning right outside Eric Schneiderman’s office giving him the business. Their “Hell no we won’t go” is officially “Game of Skill.” Which is absolutely, 100% true. Anybody who doesnt think there’s skill involved in Daily Fantasy is an idiot. Sure, winning the $2 million challenge takes an element of luck. When you’re playing in a league with hundreds of thousands of people, yes, you are going to need some luck to win 2 million fucking dollars. But if you consistently play smaller leagues and actually study and analyze players (like Kmarko does), you can win steady cash every month (like Kmarko does.) Maybe you never win the Millionaire Maker Challenge, but you can consistently win a couple grand a month if you’re good at it. If thats what the attorney general is hanging its hat on, this ruling really should be reversed. I dont know the other implications surrounding gambling and what not, but the “its all luck” argument doesnt hold any water.

Also, they are bringing the heat with their signs:

“If Only Politics Were Skill-Based” and “Bench Schneiderman this week” are A+ protest burns. And the “Lets get real, its only fantasy” is a top notch play on words. If maybe these Missouri kids protested with some fire like this maybe people would respect them more.

At the end of the day all of this stuff should be legalized, regulated, and taxed. People get to play, the government makes money, and there’s absolutely zero drawbacks. Anybody who is going to have a gambling problem is going to find a lot worse ways to blow their money and flush their lives down the toilet than daily fantasy sports.

If you like sports, money, competition, America, and freedom, lets hope today’s protests work. And if not, there’s always tomorrow:
