Ovi Had 15 Shots On Net Last Night As the Caps Lost 1-0

Did Petr Mrazek miss his invite to Hogwarts? And no, that’s not a Harry Potter joke (mostly because Hogwarts isn’t something to joke about), but because you have to be a fucking wizard/sorcerer/possessor of magical powers to stop 15 Ovi shots in one game. Not one shot trickled through, beat his glove, took a weird bounce on the way..nothing. But hey, if the only way to shut out the Caps is to stop 15 Ovi bombs, I guess more power to ya. Nothing you can do about that. It statistically will never happen again. Just one of those nights where the goalie is seeing the puck like it’s the size of the moon and the net is the size of a hamster cage.

So the Caps drop to 10-4. Have today off before beating Philly tomorrow and then a quick turnaround, playing Calgary at home on Friday. Let’s see if Ovi makes up for being stonewalled and goes HAM on his old pal Michal Neuvirth.
