I NEED This Bubble Hockey Table That Fills Up Your Beer When You Win The Game
CBS – In the days before EA Sports’ vaunted NHL series launched, there were a few different ways hockey fans could get their competitive fix away from the ice. Perhaps one of the favorite pastimes among hockey fans was the old bubble hockey game, hockey’s answer to foosball. Not much has changed about the game over the years. The electronic scoreboard that keeps time and tracks shots and goals was about as technologically advanced as the game has gotten. However, RAMM Design Labs may have just made a most magical improvement to bubble hockey. The company built a one-of-a-kind bubble hockey table that keeps track of the score like always, but with a purpose like never before. Upon the conclusion of the game, the table will automatically pour the winner a full cup of cold beer. The Ontario-based company is the same group that brought us the Toronto Maple Leafs’ deodorant Zamboni, but I think they might have hit a new high. In fact, this may be the most important invention they ever come up with. That may be an exaggeration, but as someone who buried a lot of quarters into the bubble hockey table at the old Saints Spectrum Ice Arena in Bridgeview, Ill., this is the only toy I want for myself as an adult. Maybe next year, Santa?
I don’t ask for much. I’m really a simple guy with simple needs. I don’t require fancy things. On New Years I wore a suit and was blacked out at 10:30 and it was the fanciest thing that ever happened to me. I also told a girl I would call her…not text her, but call her, which has put me in full panic mode because does she really expect a phone call now like it’s the 1950’s? Do I take her to the diner and give her my class pin? That’s neither here nor there, what I’m saying is I don’t ask for much in life. Not health insurance, not benefits, not even a day off for a wedding. But what I am asking for is this bubble hockey table that fills your cup with beer when you win. Bubble hockey is criminally underrated. I love me some air hockey too, but bubble hockey is just so unique, so fun, and so rare to see. My dad’s rich friend had one and we would play it occasionally growing up, best time ever. And now that I am of age and a borderline alcoholic, I can have all that fun while drinking an automatically poured beer when I beat some ass in the game. So if anyone wants to buy me that, I’ll gladly accept it. As for the girl, I guess I actually will call her?
