The Eagles Had Over 500 Yards Of Offense, The Defense Is Sneaky Great, And Chip Kelly's Massive Nuts Have Finally Dropped

Yes, the Saints are pitiful. I know that. You know that. Helen Keller’s corpse could see that. But, finally, the Eagles put all those short bursts of potential and greatness we’ve seen into (almost) 60 minutes of flawless play. This team needed a W in the worst way and came out and took the respect right from the opening kickoff. Aside from Bradford’s two UGLY picks in the Redzone and a few third and long, it was a decent day all around. The O-Line looked fresh. The running game was on point. Caleb Sturgis looked majestic only shanking one chip shot of a XP. And I’ll tell ya what, this defense currently led by future All-Pro’s Malcolm Jenkins and BEAST DADDY Fletcher Cox (6 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery) is on the cusp of greatness. They essentially gave up just 10 points yesterday with a garbage TD at the end. Add on another 4 turnover game and this D proves again they’ll keep the Birds in any game. More in-depth breakdown during The Good, Bad, And Ugly this afternoon, but yeah, this was refreshing. And by that I mean I’m happy to walk out of the stadium without even thinking about Supermanning over the railing.

The fact of the matter is if the Eagles are who we think the are on Monday Night at home vs. the Giants, the disgusting mess of the first 4 weeks will be well in the rear view mirror. And God help everyone if the Eagles really do put it all together. Hey NFL:
