FB - For years, we’ve been writing about how Burger King’s in Japan featured wicked cool black buns. Now, the U.S. is finally getting one to call its own. The new burger is called the Halloween Whopper. The new Whopper is made features a flame-grilled beef patty that’s topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, white onions, mayonnaise and an A.1. Thick and Hearty Sauce. The hauntingly black buns boast an A.1. flavor that’s baked in. Burger King also stylized the burger so that A.1. fits in the tittle: HA1LOWEEN WHOPPER. Clever. Like every Halloween-themed item, the A.1. Halloween Whopper will only be available for a limited time. You can order them individually for about $4.99 each. It’ll be available nationwide on Monday, Sept. 28.

I’d like to start by saying BK is delicious, it definitely is not for people with scumbag taste, and I’m grateful every day that BuzzFeed convinced them to bring back Chicken Fries. And I must say, this Halloween Whopper is genius. It’s not every day you get the nod of approval from me, but this is revolutionary. I can’t recall any other fast food place making holiday-themed burgers. The closest is McD’s Shamrock Shake, and that’s a big seller. That burger right up there is the spookiest food item I’ve ever seen. To the point I’m legit scared to try it. Black buns? I don’t know about all that. I’ve never had them before. Are they different than what I’m used to? Are we even talking about hamburgers anymore? Ok let’s summarize- great marketing idea, legit scary, not sure if too scary, I’ve never banged a black chick.
