I said last week that Terrell Owens always sort of bummed me out because he could never quite let go and would you look at that, 41 year old Terrell Owens still trying to get a job in the NFL. Like a gambler holding on to that last ticket, TO thinks all he needs is a try out and he’ll be back in the NFL dominating. I actually just looked up his stats and he didn’t have a bad last year in Cincinnati but that was 5 years ago. 5 years might as well be a million years when it comes to the NFL and as much as I want to believe TO when he says everything is water under the bridge and that he’s reformed and won’t be a locker room problem, I get the sneaking suspicion if the lights ever came back on, he’d immediately return to TO. Just go into the Hall of Fame and make money off signing autographs, it’s over Terrell, it’s over. Don’t be Brett Favre, things get awkward when old people refuse to gracefully go away.
