'She Brought The Aura' - Illinois Star Quentin Coleman Was Starstruck After Finding Out Caitlin Clark Came To Watch Them Play Last Night

This first week of college hoops is always a little bit weird. You get some loaded games right off the bat and then a couple days of nothing but buy games or not really anything notable. That's how you end up with Penn vs Illinois yesterday. Don't get me wrong Penn is typically a good Ivy League team, but Illinois is a title contender. You can make a case that they are the best team in the country at full strength. 

Now as for why Caitlin Clark was there? Fran McCaffrey is the head coach at Penn in case you forgot. That's the backstory. Someone probably should have relayed that to Quentin Coleman who had this reaction after the game 

Sometimes you forget these kids are just, well, kids. Coleman is the next star freshman at Illinois. Dude is so good who can do a little bit of everything and is one of the smartest players not just as a freshman but in the country. Even he gets starstruck. That's just the Caitlin Clark impact though. She's easily the most popular women's basketball player, maybe ever. She holds weight in the Big 10 especially after her time at Iowa. Quentin Coleman just needs a heads up next time. He's gotta be able to tell his sister! 

I know she'll be at Penn games, but Underwood has to find a way to recruit her to come to more Illinois games. You got Coleman this pumped and he's already gotta replace Wagler from last year. This might be the key. It's NIL era, give her a fee to just come sit and let Coleman know from time to time.
