Louisville Women's Soccer Player Locks Up "Play of the Year" After Scoring Off Of This Incredible Header
They are calling her Lionel MessCTE.
She might not know what day it is. She might not know where she's at. She might be stuck in concussion return to play protocol until the end of the semester. But good god almighty, what an absolutely brilliant header that was.

It's the fact that she knew to turn her body in the perfect angle to have the ball ricochet off her skull to end up perfectly tucked away in the corner of the net. Her brains might be rattling around inside like some bowling pins at the moment, but this is what separates the truly great goal scorers from everybody else. It all just seems to come so natural for them. As if they see the game in a vastly different way than anyone else out on the pitch. Most players would go into this situation just attempting to block the kick from the goalkeeper here, but this chick on Louisville saw the perfect opportunity to strike on offense.
Best part about it, too, is that there wasn't any crazy celebration. She acted like she's been there before. She wasn't going to run around like crazy and make the entire game about herself. She did her job, and put the ball in the back of the net. On to the next play. Nails.
