"I Wanted To Punch Him In The Face But I Couldn't Do It" - Charles Barkley Was Sick And Tired Of Kids Asking To Sign Basketball Cards During Halloween

With the news that Ernie Johnson (and most likely Charles Barkley) will be walking away from Inside The NBA at the end of this season, it's brought a different feel to this season. Given it's such a monumental show, it's hard not to get a little sad about the show as we know and love it coming to an end. It really makes you cherish the final moments we do have, and you know that since things are coming to an end there's no reason to hold back. We're going to get the good stuff from everyone, especially Chuck.

Live look at Chuck all night during Halloween when the time came to sign more cards

Of course, this is Example #234834857634857632987456345 of why this is the greatest show in the history of television. There's never been anything like it, and nothing will ever be able to match it for as long as we're all walking this Earth. Only Chuck could have a rant like that. And you know what? I kind of see his point. Granted, nobody has ever asked me for my autograph at any point in my life other than when I signed my mortgage and that definitely sucked, so I can only imagine what it's like if you happen to be Charles Barkley. My guess is he's signed a decent amount of autographs to the point where I think it's fair for him to not want to do that shit while passing out candy during Halloween.

But here's my question. What kind of free candy are we talking about here Chuck? If he's tossing out full-sized candy bars and things of the like, then I think this is a fair request. As a trick or treater that's still a good outcome for you. Maybe he gives you as much as you want because he's Charles Barkley and I'd like to think that's something he would do. But if he's not? Then he should be forced to sign the card. I feel like that's a fair trade. If all Chuck wants to do is pass out candy, then come correct with your Halloween candy offerings.

If he's doing that and people are still asking? Then yeah, fuck those kids. In today's world that's probably actually the parents idea as a way to make a quick buck. That shit is lame when parents do that stuff. You ever see those videos? Very lame.
