These Fans Being Stunned Seeing Bill Murray Walk Around The Boston College Game Is The Best Moment That Program Has Had In Decades

It's been about a decade or so of seeing Bill Murray hang out at college basketball games. That tends to happen when his son is a big time assistant coach now turned head coach at Boston College. We saw him at Xavier, UConn and all the other spots between. But this? This might be my favorite interaction because of the BC fan. Look at this guy

Great hair. Love that he went all BC up top too. Gotta support the team here. But that man probably never put two and two together that Luke Murray's dad would come watch a game or two in Boston. Most people don't go watch games at Boston College. But we can add this to the highlight reel of BC basketball over the years. It's not many, but they gave us this, which won't get topped:

This is what happens when you have a program who hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2009. That's almost impossible to do. But, this is Boston College basketball. It's not Troy Bell, Tyrese Rice, Craig Smith and Jared Dudley out there anymore. Hell, you don't even have Olivier Hanlan or Jerome Robinson. But you have Bill Murray these days. That's enough to get some people in the stands just hoping for a glimpse.

I don't blame these guys either. Bill Murray is an all-time superstar. He goes from generation and generation and there's no gap. People know Caddyshack and his work. So when you see him at a Boston College game, I'd be stunned to, even with his son as head coach. 1-0 and a highlight. The Luke Murray era is already off to a great start.
