Jordan Love Wasn't Getting Any Calls To This Point And That Likely Won't Change After Dressing Up As a Blind Ref For Halloween With His Wife
Patrick McDermott. Getty Images. The theme of the Packers season has been Jordan Love becoming a miracle worker. This man has willed Green Bay to a 5-3 record despite the 32nd ranked offensive line in the game, a non-existent run game, and receivers who refuse to catch perfect passes. It's borderline impossible that this season not only has life, but legitimate juice now that Micah Parsons is nearing a return.
Well, on top of that adversity Love has overcome, there's been one more obstacle thrown in his way —the zebras. I understand everyone is subject to a bad call because in actuality the NFL refs are the worst in pro sports. Why these guys can't be paid full time to do their job when the NFL makes billions is beyond me. With that being said, what's happening to Love this year is CRAZY. I don't know what he did to these guys, but the fact that he's received zero (0) roughing the passer calls while leading the league in hits is lunacy. This of course is happening while the Packers defense has been flagged for that exact penalty more than anyone in the league.
It got to the point where LaFleur said Love has to be more of a dickhead to the refs instead of getting pushed around.

Well, it seems Love took that advice to heart. Him and his wife Ronika dressed up as blind refs for Halloween.
Will this help Love get a roughing the passer call in the future? I can't imagine so. Is there a chance the refs have a group chat and threw this video in there last night? Most definitely. Is Jordan Love's life now in danger? Very much on the table, the Rams with a healthy Myles Garrett are coming up in a few weeks.
I'm curious, does this count as breaking the media rules and talking shit about officials, thus warranting a fine? He could have been a blind basketball ref for all we know. You know, it's disgusting to assume in this world.
I respect the costume and appreciate Love showing some personality. Shout out Ronika, she's a ride or die.
